The aim of this project is to develop biological control agent (BCA) againts Heterobasidion root rot infection in conifer stumps containing local Phlebiopsis gigantea, Bjerkandera adusta and Sistotrema brinkmannii isolates to reach goals of Convention on Biological Diversity and Latvian Smart Specialization Strategy the priority sector of knowledge-based intensive bio-economy, i.e. knowledge-based forestry (RIS3). As a result of the project, an alternative preparation will be developed for an existing, widely used product.
