On 26–27 March 2025, the international seminar Circular Bioeconomy – Valorisation of Forest By-products took place in Kouvola (Finland), where participated researcher of LSFRI "Silava" Kristaps Makovskis.
At the seminar Kristaps Makovskis presented a poster showcasing activities of LSFRI "Silava" within the RuralBioUp project, supported by the EU Horizon programme. The Project aims to promote the adoption of innovative, biological solutions and support entrepreneurs in rural areas in transitioning to a sustainable, regenerative, inclusive, and fair circular bioeconomy across Europe.
LSFRI "Silava" has been actively involved in the implementation of this Project since 2022, developing ideas to enhance the use of biological resources and strengthen local entrepreneurship.
