Content of the study:

  1. Accumulation of knowledge about restoration and cultivation of rare local and introduced tree species in Latvia.
  2. Effects of storm and fire damage and its changes in future climate.
  3. Changes in the influence of biotic factors in the future climate.
  4. Changes in tree growth patterns in the future climate.
  5. A model area for complex long-term observations of the effects of silviculture on forest and related ecosystems with fertile peat soils.
