Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia will held the ceremonial event in honor of the 107th anniversary of the Republic of Latvia on 14 November, during which awards of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Fund of Fisheries will be presented to outstanding professionals in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and the food sector.
Among this year's awardees is Dr. Andis Lazdiņš, Senior researcher of LSFRI "Silava", who will receive the Medal of the Ministry of Agriculture "For Diligence" in recognition of his long-standing, dedicated, and significant contributions to forestry science and the development of Latvia's forestry sector.
