European Social Fund (ESF) agreeement No. 8.2.2.0/20/I/001
Project partners are Latvian University of Agriculture (leading partner, manager Natālija Sergejeva), LSFRI "Silava" (coordinator Dagnija Lazdiņa), Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics and Institute of Horticulture.
The total funding is EUR 1,032,439.00, incl. ESF funding EUR 877,573.15 (85%), state budget funding EUR 154,865.85 (15%), the total budget of Project partners is EUR 51,078, incl. ESF funding EUR 43,416.3 and state budget funding EUR 2,552.90.
The aim of the Project is to increase the number of the holders of doctoral degree and their employment in the academic and scientific work of the Latvian University of Agriculture (LUA) in the areas of strategic specialization, increasing the quality and competitiveness of doctoral studies in the scientific environment of Latvia and Europe, involving foreign lecturers in the provision of doctoral studies and providing financial support to 30 doctoral students or scientific degree applicants.
