The general aim of the study is to transfer the scientific and methodological experience of LSFRI "Silava" to the tree survey software for strengthening the capacity of the forest industry. The specific aim of study is the electronicization of measurements of tree dimensions in the forest using the latest generation of electronic measuring instruments and saving the measured information in prepared applications for GPS receivers with a built-in handheld computer.
