The eligible costs of the Project are 494,012.30 EUR, incl. public funding 444,611.06 EUR.
The aim of the study is to develop and offer innovative technological solutions to forest processing by-products recovery, further processing and increasing the added value of forest resources by developing
- building insulation materials,
- granular fuel,
- raw material extraction techniques for nutritional supplements, and
- soil improvers in combination with sapropel.
The developed techniques will be tested in the laboratories of the cooperation partners of the research with the aim of verifying the efficiency of the use of forest processing by-products, as well as the economic rationale.
